PROM SEASON!!

Prom season has arrived and hopefully every girl is excited including myself! Its the few months before the prom were all the drama begins and the dress stores explode. If you want to have a successful prom day you have to start early. A big thing is making sure you have your dress because that can either make or brake you on your big day. You want to keep it elegant, don't be that one person that shows up in something casual. So instead of just throwing out my opinion, i found a great website that will help you be completely successful on your prom day

Remember going solo and just with your friends is not so bad. You can have a great time as long as your surrounded by people you like and will laugh and dance with.

Sports

Can your sports really have an impact on your social life? It truely can.. lets give you an example

Now was that cool to watch?
nahhh i dont think sooooo.. lets see another

Now those were cool weren't they?

so this pretty much speaks for itself. You don't want to be out there reppin a sport that people make fun of. Try picking something you know people will be around and watching. A lot of people get together at school sporting events, the cool ones that is.

New kid on the block

We have been giving you advice assuming you have been around your peers for awhile. What happens if you used to be cool but now you moved and need to start all over again! We didn't forget about you we want you to survive being the new kid

I found some great tips on getting a head start on making some friends..

My advice, being new can be a fresh start. Dress casual with some style. Don't be intimidated and have fun in your new surroundings!

Flirt of the week!!

Thank goodness! its another week therefore its time for another flirt! Lately all every one has been hearing about is john Mayer's infamous playboy interview so he gladly earns this title.

He dished all his dirty details about all his past relationships. Now this may appear to be something cool to do because a famous man did it but in high school if you spill the beans you look desperate. Ways to be successful in a relationship is to earn trust with your partner even in high school. If you go around spilling all the dirt you may be heading for a slap in the face. Keep things under wrap even if your boys are hounding you to know. It will make girls trust you more and make things easier when you want to be with the respected girl next door.

Check out his interview: read and learn what not to do!

PDA (guys perspectice)

Dom, you are very correct with your opinion on PDA (public display of affection).
Guys, i know you might always want to be all over your girl but in school its just not th right time. Yeah you can give them a peck or a hug when your going away from class, or hold hands in the hall, but anything more then that is over the line. PEOPLE DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU MAKING OUT IN THE HALL. You might think you look cute but really its gross and people don't want to see that. And also Dom your 100% right with wearing the clothes. Girls, please once a week max wearing your boyfriends hoodie, you just look like a dirtbag if you wear it everyday, or even twice a week. Guys don't try to show off by feeling up your girl in the hall or doing whatever, if you really like her it shouldn't even matter what other people thing.

Not cute....

PDA (girls perspective)

PDA, what a good high school topic. If your in a relationship you love it, if your single you hate it. So what is a happy medium that can help you out when dating in high school. For this i can only give you my opinion, Its okay to show affection..the occasional hand hold and quick peck before heading off to class or home. That in most point of views is the classic cute couple but when two people are caught at the tongue is can totally give you the wrong image. People don't like to see you hanging around corners making out and touching all over! keep it G at school unless you want the rep of being the scum couple. It can give you a bad name around school. Another thing that may not be too hot is you wearing your boyfriends clothes...everyday. Once and awhile the occasional sweatshirt is cute! But a daily outfit from your boy can really make you look too clingy.

This man can be considered the PDA pimp according to Urban dictonary....NOT HOT

OPPORTUNITY

Okay so living the teen live can be one big lazy party...if you wanna be a loser. One mayjor thing you need to consider is getting a job, it can really make your life 100% easier. One it can give you a lot of respect from your parents. Taking the indicative to get out and get a job can give you some major brownie points. Two it can help out A LOT when your in a relationship. You don't wanna be mooching cash from your parents when you need to take a girl out on a date and it will impress her knowing you can go out and spend some cash around the holidays :)

Here a some rules that i found that might help you get off you feet and willing to get out and work!

Rule #5. Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping. They called it opportunity. They weren’t embarrassed making minimum wage either. They would have been embarrassed to sit around talking about Kurt Cobain all weekend.
Rule #6. It’s not your parents’ fault. If you screw up, you are responsible. This is the flip side of “It’s my life,” and “You’re not the boss of me,” and other eloquent proclamations of your generation. When you turn 18, it’s on your dime. Don’t whine about it or you’ll sound like a baby boomer.

"whats hot"

The whole point of the 'whats hot' post is to give readers some background on hot topics for conversation so maybe if they're hanging with friends and the topic comes up they wont be lost. They are also good topics to talk about when first meeting people.

School fighting

fight from greyson schofield on Vimeo.

(Sorry for the offensive language)

What does this accomplish?

Maybe a black eye or too, gossip around the school for about a day about who kicked who's ass then everyone forgets it ever happened. Don't fight at school. Don't fight anywhere but if you are going to fight don't do it at school.

Most school fights are over opposite sex's. Guys will fight to protect their girls and try to act tough and girls will do the same thing for their man. Its really not worth getting suspended for 5 days or getting grounded just to get a few punches on someone you completely despise. Just ignore them or find another way to settle it. You might think fighting makes you look cool but it just makes you look like a dirtbag and after about 2 days people forget about your fight and it doesn't even matter.
